Acts chapter two is one of the most exciting passages in all of Scripture. The supernatural birth of the church. The first sermon ever preached in the church age, in which three thousand people came to faith in Christ. And then there’s a brief passage that explains what we now know as the five purposes of the church. That’s where Ron is headed today as he continues his teaching series, “AD: Acts of the Apostles.”

Consider the words of Peter in Acts chapter two. "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christs for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Peter’s message was the first sermon of the church age. Simple, direct, straight to the point of what it takes to receive salvation. Today, Ron takes us to this sermon … to this Day of Pentecost, as he continues his series, “AD: Acts of the Apostles.”
