The cross of Jesus Christ. A stumbling block to the Jews. Foolishness to the Gentiles. What is it to you? Today, Ron continues his series, Hosanna, a spiritual journey through the final week of Christ’s life on Earth. As you follow along, remember that the crucifixion tells us not only that we are sinners who need a Savior, but that we are loved and forgiven because Jesus is that Savior.  

Jesus was fully Divine, but also fully human. Which means He experienced all of the same challenges you and I face.  Hunger and thirst. Trials and temptation.  Frustration and fear.  On the night before He was put to death, Jesus went through a period of agony in the Garden of Gethsemane that can only be described as fear. Today Ron takes us once again to that night in the garden … to His frustration … to His fear … and finally, to the forfeiture of His own will. 

The agony of victory, today on Something Good. Jesus was just a few short hours from completing His work on Earth, a sacrificial life that would soon culminate in His sacrificial death. It was an agonizing moment in the life of Christ, and today Ron takes us to the garden of that agony as he continues his series, Hosanna.

The world sees the brooding cowboy or the troubled loner and calls them real men. But if you’re looking for the embodiment of true masculinity, look no further than is Jesus Christ. He wept … He healed … He righted wrongs … and He paid the penalty for your sins and mine on the cross. Today Ron reminds us that the realest man who ever lived can be found in the person and work of Jesus Christ.  

The final week of Jesus’s life led to the two most important events in history. His death on Calvary’s cross and His glorious resurrection on the third day. The Christian life is not about what you have, it’s about what you give away. If you have money, give it to the cause of Christ. If you have a gift for teaching, use it for the glory of God. In just a few moments, Ron concludes his teaching series, “What Jesus Said About The Future.” Along the way, he reminds us that nothing we have is ours.  On the contrary, we are merely stewards of what belongs to God.
