I used to have a joke I would say many years ago, ‘Just when you think you’ve got it; you don’t’. This was very true this past week. I feel the same way about the inner journey and becoming aware of and integrating all the energies that block my access to my inner wisdom and Higher Self. Having lots of tools, resources and knowledge of self care are vital. Some energies move easily and swiftly and others can be like a tsunami and feel overwhelming. When the tsunami of emotion and energy wash over me I am learning to be better at self care as a priority and just shifting a spoonful of energy, instead of attempting to integrate it all at once. I do a bit of inner work and then go and resource myself with a walk, some TV or a film or talking to others. I attempt to connect within and ask for my Higher Self to assist me, but at times it is not easy and can feel scary. This is when I become extra self compassionate and allow myself to take all the time I need to process the energies coming up.
