Happy belated Mother's Day, Idiots!

My guest this week is Maeret (pronounced "merit" like the badge) Lemons.

We have a lot of laughs and a really open and honest conversation about her life as a single mom trying to chase a dream. Spoiler alert: It's not easy. She talks about accepting the imperfections that come with trying to balance both and we talk about the difference in women whose biggest dream is being a mom, women whose biggest dream is being something else and what happens when you realize you have bigger dreams than just being a mother, after you already have a child.

We had a lot of laughs and it's a great, honest look at single motherhood for someone who is pursuing a career in a creative field.
