Everybody has some terrible firsts. From having your friends watch you drown in a hot tub to awkward Bumble catfishes, join us on a trip down memory lane!
Have you guys ever noticed the blatant disregard for human life displayed at Hogwarts? This week, the SUP crew takes another trip into the magical world of Harry Potter. They put themselves in pivotal scenes from the first few movies and discuss how things would go down with them there.
They then begin to realize how dangerous this "school" really is and tear down the entire establishment. What starts as an innocent quest to find out why Myrtle really moans turns into a scathing critique of the leadership at Hogwarts. I mean they hired both Voldie Boy himself and a werewolf for Buckbeaks sake! That's not the best look.
This week, Sabrina tells us a story about an ain't shit dude doing ain't shit things. It's a tale as old as time, really. We discuss her current situation and talk about experiences we've had in our lives. Nick does what he does and calls the cheater out on his shenanigans, so stay tuned to see if he decides to crash our set one day.
After an unfortunate game of hide and seek in an old wardrobe, the crew finds themselves warped to Narnia. However, It's looking a little different from how we all remember it from the movies.
Immediately, something isn't right. Bobby turned into a beaver! Nick is oblivious and just has to pee, and he ends up getting kidnapped yet again (real original, right?). Now, our heroes embark to find Nick and turn Bobby back into a human.
On their journeys, they meet Bobby's beaver family, Peter Pan, and a an Elmo that has definitely seen better days.
This week, the SUP Crew gets serious. Apparently some mad scientists are working on ways to delete painful memories from your mind. We discuss whether we would do it and why. We also break out our tinfoil hats and talk about a few conspiracies we can see happening if this technology is used for the wrong reasons.
Part Two of our Halloween Special! The Boo Crew escaped the mysterious mansion relatively unscathed. Nick is still missing his nipples and Ally might be hobbling a bit, but they're alive and driving off into the moonlight. Well they were...until their car broke down in the middle of a cornfield. With Jigsaws voice filling the air through the car speakers, our heroes are in for the fight of their lives.
Can the Boo Crew figure out how to survive yet again? Will Bobby and Sabrina dig through another butt? Can Ally outrun the undead with a bum leg? Will Nick ever find a set of replacement nipples? Find out in this weeks episode of Somewhere Underground!
Part one of our Halloween Special! When the Boo Crew (yup, we're the Boo Crew now) goes to a haunted house, things take an unexpected turn for the worse. Nick goes missing after leaving the line to urinate. Once inside the house, the crew has to play a game to get him back.
Tune in next week for part 2 to see how this misadventure ends!
Everybody loves Tim Burton and his imaginative characters, and we're no exception. We grew up with his movies, after all. From The Nightmare Before Christmas to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, we all have our favorite characters that have stuck with us. This week, we answer the age old question: which one of these characters would help us survive a zombie apocalypse?
Nick goes singing with The Pumpkin King. Ally gets weird with the Cheshire Cat. Sabrina goes all psycho with Sweeny Todd. Bobby thinks Dr. Finklestein won't turn on him at a moments notice.
When the gangs scenic train ride through Europe gets attacked by Swedish (German?) vampires, all hell breaks loose. Nick tries to find a vamp-bride, Ally has a mental break, Sabrina tracks down some naked vampire researchers (also while naked) and Bobby...Bobby has relations with a bat.
So a startup is trying to revive woolly mammoths to combat climate change. I feel like I’ve seen this movie before…
