What do you mean it's been a whole year since our last podcast episode? WE'VE BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME!
Just kidding. It's been a while. We've missed you. But we're back and with more games to talk about. Alex and Wiley talk about their current roster of games including one racer that's coming back into the limelight after 20 years!
Some audio snippets in this episode are from some amazing creators that are worth checking out including Brentalfloss, Markiplier, and Alex's personal favorite, B-Mask (Beyond Pictures) who did an amazing analysis of the Sly Cooper games. Go check them out!
Alex and Wiley are back talking about GamesCom from a few months ago (weeks ago, when we recorded). Going over all new releases as well as our favorite crappy games that are out there. Thanks for joining us for another episode of Son of a Buttonmasher! :)
Koreskape is back for his second episode on Son of a Buttonmasher! Let's be honest, there's no prepared material...just a lot of riffing about anything and everything! We've got what we think would be the next big title after the Super Smash Bros. games, plus workshopping the next 4 Super Mario titles, and plenty of other things in between. All this and more in this edition of Son of a Buttonmasher!
You can check out all of Koreskape's stuff on his YouTube and streaming accounts and please check out his new album "Awake, Alive" for plenty of cool tunes!

The boys are back (later than expected). This time it's all about the games that made us gamers from platformers to RPGs to sports titles. A long-standing joke is given a proper explanation and there is much wailing and gnashing at teeth at the remembrance of a classic game dev. Thanks for sticking around and please enjoy the second episode of season 2! (finally!)
Well, whaddya know? ALEX AND WILEY HAVE RETURNED FROM THE HIATUS ABYSS!! It's been sooo long since we've done this, so we are pumped and ready to go! Mind you, we recorded this in June after E3 happened, so there's a lot that is probably dated info, but we've MISSED you all so much! Time to catch up with us and talk about our favorite E3 reveals with our usual oddball humor to boot!
Alex is joined by his friend, Shelby, aka GameChops producer Koreskape for the penultimate episode of Season 1 of Son of a Buttonmasher! Discussion ranges from SoulsBorne titles, RPG issues, Rogue-like games, and some really odd Twitter jokes! It was awesome hanging with Shelby for this episode, but you can check out his music on his Spotify and several other streaming platforms like Tidal, Apple Music, and various others! He's also a YouTuber. Videos and artist pages will be linked below!

Alex and Wiley are coming at you in 2021 from the next generation as both the guys have their own XBOX Series S Consoles! This, of course, leads to a bunch of chaos about the new graphics, SSD capabilities, and GAME PASS! Oh my LORD, there's a lot about Game Pass! Good to have you with us in the New Year!
Featuring music from Koreskape
For this episode of SOABM, we are hosting our own "awards show". Yeah sure, Last of Us Part 2 cleaned up about 90% of the accolades last week at the Game Awards, but we are here to talk about our personal picks from our favorite "fourquels", best puzzle games, best multiplayer experience, and a bunch more! It's all of this and more with Alex and Wiley back again for Son of a Buttonmasher!
Alex and Wiley are back for another episode of Son of a Buttonmasher!! This time it's all about the long, hard grinds in some of the biggest known games to man! Alex breaks down a bit of Cyberpunk 2077 after his first two hours (it's an early take to be sure). Wiley talks about his first RPG experiences. And they both gawk at some surprising news from the Game Awards!! It's all that and more on this week's episode of SOABM!
