  • Genesis 21 & Being Bold for Jesus Christ Feb 7, 2024 09:54
Song Recommendation: In Awe by Hollyn.   Scripture: Genesis 21.   Scripture referenced: 2Chronicles 24:20 & Isaiah 9:6&7. Genesis Chapter 21, highlights: • God fulfills His promise that Isaac would be born to Abraham and Sarah. Isaac is the son of promise and from his seed (from the seed of the woman) the Messiah would be born. (For in Isaac your seed shall be called.) • Hagar and Ismael are cast out. God hears the voice of the Lad, Ismael, and also states He will make a nation from Ishmael. • God speaks to Hager a second time. • Hager gets Ismael a wife out of Egypt. Hagar is Egyptian.   This message also includes an example of being bold for Christ. I mention my encounter with one of my doctors who is if the religion Judaism. I talked to him about reading Isaiah and specifically chapter 9: 6&7, so he could hopefully be prompted to read the New Testament and be saved by believing that Jesus is the Son of God. *we must pray for boldness to speak up to those who are antichrists).

Song Recommendation: Weary Traveler by Jordan St. Cyr.

    Scripture: Genesis 20, & 2Chronicles 15: 2, 12 & 13.

    Supporting Scripture: Genesis 19: 37, Matthew 1:5&6, & James 2:25.

In this message I give a recap of Lot and his daughters: the first daughter giving birth to Moab and from Moab comes Ruth who is the great grandmother of King David. I also give an account of Ruth’s husband Boaz who comes from Rahab the prostitute. Boaz is the great grandfather of King David.

This message also includes a reading and review of Genesis chapter 20. I mention that we all come from the same first parents and therefore we all have a similar ancestral bloodline.

  • Revelation 22: Amen. Even So, Come, Lord Jesus! Jan 10, 2024 10:01
Song Recommendation: Awesome God by Rich Mullins.
In this message I read the last chapter of the Holy Bible: Revelation 22! Jesus said numerous times that He is coming quickly. As mere humans, we should not count time like God does. God is on His own time. *He gives freely of the Living Water. As a human being we need water to survive. If we don’t have any water our human body dies. The Living Water that Jesus talks about is needed for our eternity with Him in Heaven. Without the Living Water our soul lives on in the lake of fire. The Holy Spirit is our Living Water. We must be born again and come to repentance. He leaves the decision up to each person as to whether we partake of His free gift of salvation, or not partake. We must have faith and belief in Jesus Christ the Son of God. Romans 10:9-10
9 [a]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, [b]resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, [c]resulting in salvation.
    Deuteronomy 4:2
2 You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you.
    Revelation 22:18
    18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
The Coming Day of the Lord
    2Peter 3:3-9
3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers [a]fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For [b]when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed by being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people.
8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
    Revelation 22:20
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
