THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS YOUR MIND

Tearing through the nightly veil of delusion,
O Lord Manjushri, please come to me.
One sword cutting the root of all illusions,
Two feet trampling ignorance thoroughly.

May you guard and protect so my mind
Will be like a moon growing full and bright.
What is not realized, will be realized,
What has been realized will never subside.

My heart still has all the flaws,
May You illuminate wisdom most profound.
To clearly see ignorance and enlightenment
Are just the Mind’s bright radiance.

“Absolute truth is your mind,
There’s nothing else but your mind.”
These words You taught I shall vow
To realize until perfection.

This poem came into existence when one student received a teaching from Manjushri Bodhisattva, and the owner of Mani Decor asked Trong Suot to compose a prayer for the students to use when praying to Him.
May Manjushri enter and stay in the hearts of those who recite this prayer until the day they attain enlightenment.
