"I will never let you go" was born out of one of those seasons where you are holding on to God with everything in you. The chorus says:

These words came from a real experience — a moment when I was reminding God of His promises, trusting Him even when I couldn’t see the answer yet. Sometimes life puts us in situations where we look at everything around us and wonder, “Lord, You said You would keep me safe… You said You would provide… You said You would guide me… so where is the promise?” And yet, even in the questions, the faith remains: I will never let You go.

This song carries the same spirit Jacob had in the Bible when he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me.” It is not a song of doubt — it is a song of persistent faith, the kind that holds on even when nothing makes sense. When I wrote this song, I wanted it to be honest — real feelings, real faith, real struggle, real hope. It expresses that tension between waiting on God and trusting Him anyway. It’s the voice of a believer saying, “Lord, I’m still here. I’m still holding on. I still believe You will do what You said.”

Recording it for Phase 2 reminded me once again that God hears even the quiet cries of our hearts, and He honors those who refuse to let go of Him.
