Monique is one of those people that is totally and utterly self-driven, creative, passionate,honest and stubborn in the best way possible. She is an independent singer-songwriter-cellist who was classically trained alongside her interests in folk music. She has travelled the world with music, she's taught cello in Afghanistan, held a residency at the Banff Centre, toured to the UK and the US and has toured Australia in her van whilst realising her debut album “Sight.” Monique and I have been friends for quite a while and have played in a bunch of different musical scenarios together. The main one being our contemporary folk quartet, The Mulberry Collective. We’ve done a duo tour along the East Coast of Australia together and we even played in an orchestra together when we studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, I think it might have been Strauss? It’s been so inspiring to watch Monique grow as a musician and person. Her music is honest and juggles her classical and folk technique with raw lyrics about heartbreak, her mind and home.

Rhys Ferguson is a Graphic Designer, Creative Director, vinyl collector and dear friend. We've been friends for years and what started as a simple album design for a friends band turned into a beautiful creative alliance. Whenever Fergo and I get together we rant for hours so we thought we'd record an episode and document some of the places both our brains go when we are in the same room. We cover Bon Iver, Fred Again, Rick Rubin, Mac Miller, Pharrell, Eric Timothy Carlson, the printing business, music and design collabs, idea visualisation, kids, inspiration and so much more. This is a big one and I came out feeling so inspired, I hope you do too!

Dr. Jodie Rottle is one of the coolest people I know. She's studied the flute, plays in all manner of ensembles ranging from jazz to classical to new music to improvised and experimental music. She's obsessed with everyday objects and finding the beauty within the sounds they create. Her practice blends interdisciplinary art, theatre, puppetry, improvisation, comedy and composition.

Meet Joe Fallon. A classically trained Guitarist, Composer and Producer based in Meanjin (Brisbane). Joe's ability to musically adapt and contribute to any musical situation has made him an in demand touring and session guitarist. He currently plays lead guitar in  @JaguarJonze  and is in the process of expanding his guitar set-up and repair business. He juggles playing, guitar set-up, arranging and producing into a swirling ball of what we call LTD'ing (Living The Dream). Joe and I have played together in a bunch of different settings, the main one being a contemporary folk quartet, The Mulberry Collective and my album Yarns.

Meet singer-songwriter and producer Jo Davie. Jo and I have been friends for 10 years and have shared a multitude of musical experiences. Recording her first folk EP in 2014, playing folk festivals together, premiering my first vocal quartet and dissolving people to literal puddles with her exceptionally refined voice.
