We're pleased to welcome another quality independent musician on the rise: Cody Brooks to Sonic Dorms.
Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Cody brings to mind the raw electric guitar chaos of legends like Robert Johnson and Jack White . Vocally he channels a similar gruffness to Tom Waits , while delivering his streetwise poetry.
During our chat, we get into the desire to continue to seek out artists with a raw human element to their music, Cody's own musical journey and the influences that pour into his work.
His new album, titled: "First World Problems" is available now (on all streaming platforms).
