He recently started up a Patreon account, so if you are into his music, you can support his work directly and be treated to a private podcast and other musical goodies.

The Green Kingdom “Laze” (21:00) – From the latest release Audioloom 2.

Pye Corner Audio “Haze Loops” (23:30) – From the recent album Let’s Emerge! – on the Sonic Cathedral label. The album features Ride guitarist Andy Bell playing on five of its ten tracks, including this one.

Kikagaku Moyo “Effe” (27:40) – From their album Kumoyo Island, supposedly their last album forever as they are going on an indefinite hiatus. I had the good fortune of seeing them in Detroit back in May and it was quite a blowout show – they will definitely be missed.

The Twelve Hour Foundation “Stepping Stones” (31:00) – A glorious technicolor dream to close out summer. This track is from a 4-way split EP on the Russian Library label entitled L SERIES #1, which also includes Pulselovers, Stellarays, and Ondness.

Aural Design “Exit Utopia” (35:00) – A track from the Russian Library L SERIES #2 split EP, with Listening Center, Demónio António and The Heartwood Institute.

The Howard Hughes Suite “Flow State” (19:40) – dreamy slide guitar work, from the album High & Lonesome.

anthéne & Simon McCorry “Distant Glitter” (23:20) – from the recent collaboration Mind of Winter on the Hidden Vibes label.

Chelo Lares “Last Ride” (28:30) – closing out the episode with a groovy instrumental piece out of Argentina, off the Cargo EP.

The Prison Of Winners “Chip Error” (8:15) – a collaboration between Dave Mason of listening center and Martin Jensen from the home current. This is from an amazing two CD set that was put out recently on the Polytechnic youth label.

Flipping Candy “Searching For UFO’s In The Backyard” (12:40) –sci-fi infused radiophonica, on the Prisma Sonora label out of Portugal

Cate Brooks “Blemishes” (17:40) – from her recent release Chalk Sketches.

Salvatore Mercatante “Slope” (20:15) – off his recent release Upper on the Werra Foxma label

The Silent Treatment “7 p.m. (Still Hot)” (23:25) –new ambient music sent in from France, off their debut release I.

Camino Sound “Joule” (36:42) – an epic track from their recent self-titled EP.

The Voice of Saturn “Winston” (0:00) – the solo work of Travis Thatcher, one half of the duo Personal Bandana. This track is taken from the release Gratitude, on the Woodford Halse label.

Panamint Manse “LandMarks” (5:40) – sun-baked electronic sounds off the album Seldom Seen.

Cate Brooks “Free Play” (9:05) – taken from the second of two Commentaires releases from 2021.

D. Rothon “West of the Moon” (14:00) – released on England’s Clay Pipe music, the album Memories of Earth saw some serious rotation over the past summer.

A Journey of Giraffes “Muddy Opal” (16:35) – from the Spool album released on the Somewherecold label.

SineRider “Ashore” (18:30) – drifting ambient courtesy of Sound In Silence.

White Flowers “Different Time, Different Place” (22:20) – quite possibly my favorite new band, delivering a sound steeped in dream pop reminiscent of Cocteau Twins. From their amazing album Day By Day.

Hattie Cooke “Cars” (26:35) – from the album Bliss Land released by the always amazing Castles In Space label.

Colleen “Hidden in the Current” (30:00) – full of bubbly organic synth sounds, off of one of my favorite albums of 2021, The Tunnel and the Clearing on Thrill Jockey Records.

Heron & Crane “Sleep Patterns” (36:00) – closing out the episode with a track off of another favorite release of 2021, Heron & Crane’s Streams.

Ear Travelling Program “Multicoloured Seahorses and Seadragons” (10:45) – from the album Underwater Functions and Echosounders. Ear Travelling Program is Centeio, co-founder of Prisma Sonora and also member of Stellarays.

Atelier Radiofónico “Aerial” (14:10) – from the album L’Émission.

The Landscape Pavilion “Mysterious Paper Airplane” (18:05) – from the album Introducing Music You Can Watch.

Ben Holton (Birds In The Brickwork) “June (Blurred Fields)” (22:08) – A new music project from the founding member of epic45. He recently released an album of 12 tracks, one for each month, along with a corresponding print calendar. Stay tuned for more from Ben in 2022.

The Green Kingdom “Cloud Forest” (24:48) – from the album Imaginary Habitats. Michael Cottone was very busy in 2021 putting out no less that 5 releases, each one building on the previous one. It was hard to find just one track to play, there were so many to choose from!

Astral Brain “Midsummer’s Lullaby” (27:35) – a duo out of Sweden that provided some much needed sonic relief to the end of year blues with their album The Bewildered Mind.

Robin Guthrie “Starfish Prime” (32:30) – Robin released two EPs and a full-length album towards the end of the year, and this is from the Riviera EP.

Ishmael Cormack “Yellowstone” (18:22) – an electro-acoustic sound artist from England, from his latest release Many Wild Things on the Slow Music Movement label.

Light Humidity “Autumn’s Refuge” (21:40) -a joint venture between musicians Jason T Lameroux of the Corrupting Sea and Paul Rhodes of Your Gaze. From the upcoming release Liquid on the Somewherecold label.

Fly Pan Am “Body Pressure” (26:10) – classic Montréal post-rockers who’ve returned from an extended hiatus. From their latest album Frontera.

Sansyou “Eyes Front” (17:00) – the long-time musical project of David Nicholas returns with the familiar “reverb drenched guitars” mixed with keyboard atmospherics courtesy of new member John Mark King. This is the title track from their latest EP.

The Howard Hughes Suite “Undertow” (20:26) – a cosmic country sound taken from the recently released album Smoke From a Future Fire on the Slow Music Movement label.

Billow Observatory “Red Morning” (23:40) – an ambient collaboration between Jonas Munk of Causa Sui and Jason Kolb of Auburn Lull.

Tristan Welch “Legislative Morality” (28:40) – from his latest album Temporary Preservation. I recently interviewed Tristan for the blog if you want to find out more about this musician who’s got a lot to say.

Black Brunswicker “Wake Me Up When This Is Over” (33:00) – lo fi acoustic soundscapes from the album Temple of Spring.

Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan “Gateway to the North” (20:37) – an electronic project from Gordon Chapman Fox, serving as an homage to the British urban planning schemes of the 1970s.

The Tape Recorders “When Souls Shall Wear Their New Array” (24:35) – more cosmic sounds from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
