Paul is taken before the Sanhedrin, he angers the crowd and the Jews vow to kill Paul. However, God has other plans and spoils the plot. God demonstrates care for paul thought his presence, providence, protection and provision of wisdom. 

He does the same for us. God provides us with everything we need for life and godliness. Are you grateful to God for His provision? How do you show your gratitude?

The message today centers on Paul's arrest in Jerusalem. Paul enters the temple and is falsely accused. The crowd is stirred up by Jews and soon they are trying to kill Paul. He is then arrested and shares his testimony with the crowd. 

While sharing his testimony Paul shared his unsaved past, his salvation experience, his growth as a follower of Jesus and his obedience to the Lord. This is a good plan to follow when we consider sharing our testimonies. We should share how we also had been unsaved, how we experienced salvation and how we grow as a follower and learn to be obedient to Jesus. 

This week we see Paul travel to and arrive in Jerusalem. Paul continues to commit to following the Lord even when it could come at great personal cost. Paul was committed to seeing the church grow and spread.

In Romans 11 Paul is speaking to a group of Gentile believers about the nation of Israel. Listen along as David reviews the evidence that God has not cast out the nation of Israel and that God is not done with His people. 

Paul is preparing to make his way to Jerusalem and calls a meeting with the elders of the church in Ephesus. He describes his ministry, reflects on his journey to Jerusalem and describes his conscience from his work in Ephesus. He challenges the elders to pay attention to themselves, their flock and to shepherd the church of God. 

In Acts 20, verses 1-16 we see Paul traveling throughout Asia to encourage the churches. Paul has a heart for God's people. He cares about their spiritual lives as they grow in their faith. Paul's life became all about ministry, he loved God and people and loved sharing the truth of God with everyone. 

Do you love God and people? What is your attitude toward the body of Christ? How do you respond when you have the opportunity to serve?

Our message today comes from 1 Timothy 3:15-16 where Paul is writing to the young pastor, Timothy, encouraging him to continue to proclaim, defend and pass on the Gospel. 

Are we doing the same? Are we sharing the Gospel? Are we sharing the truth of who Jesus Christ is and what he has done for us?

In Acts 19:21 - 20:1, Paul is preparing to leave Ephesus after being there for 3 years. The Gospel was spreading across Asia and this angered many people. As Paul was preparing to leave a riot breaks out in Ephesus. In God's providence He used unbelievers to bless the church and its followers. 

Even though the day didn't go as planned for Paul, God was working for the good of the Gospel. Do you trust God when your day goes in a different diretion than you had planned? 

This week we read of Paul's journey into Ephesus where he finds some disciples of God. He inquires about their relationship with Jesus, Paul introduces them to Jesus the presence of the Holy Spirit. Paul's ministry grows in Ephesus and he worked many miracles and spread the gospel.

Jesus Chris is the only way to be saved, to grow and to get to heaven. There is no other way. 

Paul travels from Athens to Corinth on his journey. While in Corinth Paul has a vision from the Lord, the Lord tells him, "Do not be afraid; keep on spreaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city." (Acts 18:9-10)

When we find ourselves afraid we can become paralyzed, but this is when we need to continue to keep our focus and attention on God. If we're fearing (trusting) God we can see God for who He is and fear people less.
