Leather Leone is one of the original female fronts of heavy metal. She started her career in the Bay area in the early 80s fronting the band Rude Girl and Chastain. While in the Bay Area she was embraced by the metal community including future metal icons such as Metalica and Megadeth as well as mentor the legend Ronnie James Dio.
