Afshin Molavi is a Senior Fellow at the Johns Hopkins SAIS Foreign Policy Institute, a Senior Research Fellow at the New America Foundation, a non-partisan think tank, and a former director of the World Economic Roundtable, as well as founder and editor of the New Silk Road Monitor, a site that examines the markets, societies, cultures, and politics of countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. 

I am glad to have an interview with Mr. Monty Simus today, a day before July 4th, 2020, a holiday for American people celebrating independence and freedom. Although we see lots of problems happening in this county nowadays, however, conversation with Monty will lead our sights go beyond today's issue into future. Let's do not forget the heritage of this county - American dream, which despite race, gender and social status, is to pursue dream and happiness for individual, family and society.
