October 17, 2026. It’s been a long time since I last picked up the mic.

It feels like I’m digging with a shovel, and then an excavator comes along and scoops it all up.And if I try to build a house with that excavator, I keep thinking that pretty soon it will just build the whole house on its own.I use it every day and I know its limits, and I still have this thought. That scared me a little.

During the Industrial Revolution, the people who were farmers retired naturally as the generations changed, but we may have to face that in real time.What machines replaced back then was strength, but what we’ve made this time is intelligence.

I didn’t mean to tell a gloomy story.Holding a walkie-talkie or a radio, somewhere in Seoul on October 17, 2026, I wanted to calmly leave these thoughts on record.Like sending a letter to some intelligence that might find this record a few years from now.

WHO I AM

I’m Sophia Hong. I used to be a lawyer. Still am, but not for a living. I started a one-person company, built with AI.

Language shouldn’t be a barrier to sharing thoughts with others. It’s kind of a blessing that we live in a world where AI makes this possible, but it’s also sometimes horrifying.

Every idea here is my own, recorded first in Korean, my native language. The English, Chinese and Spanish versions are read in an AI clone of my own voice. I try to keep them accurate, but some are in languages I don’t speak, so thank you for your patience.
