Mary Stone sits down with Shannon Butler, a great friend and fellow musician with similar passion for the music scene.  Shannon gives us details on all the fun things happening at Femme Fest this weekend at Red's Corner as well as how Hilltop Music Fest is connected with other fundraisers and a Music opportunity for the whole community on Tuesdays at the West Southern Pines Center. 

This week Bonnie from Mira Foundation joins Mary Stone and they talk about the bands and festivities happening this Saturday in Pinehurst at Mira Fest: Tunes, Tacos and Tequila is the theme and the festival is family friendly! Tickets are available at the gate for only $25 and there will be music inside and outside!

This week Chris from Scroggins Band and Franklin from Aftermath join co-hosts Mary Stone and Matthew Battise as we continue to discuss what brings us all together, the craziest things that have happenned at our shows and how the Fayetteville area bands have contributed to the Moore County Music Scene. 

Musicians banter about karaoke, open mic, screamo, technique, and gear ensues and we end with ideas that could possibly help bands and musicians in the Moore County NC area right now. 

Co-Hosts Mary Stone and Matthew Battise bring in two musicians who have been on the scene in Moore County NC for a while. We get to know Franklin's real first name, hear Chris's impression of Keith Sweat, and Matthew asks about the craziest thing that's ever happened to both bands at a show. Chris Scroggins of Scroggins band from Fayetteville, NC and Franklin Branch of Aftermath out of Rockingham, NC are super nice dudes who help other musicians and artists and we are so excited to bring them in studio this week and next week!
