In a world where belonging is often questioned, I spoke with Khadija and Nemo about their journeys from Somalia to London. They shared their experiences of longing and belonging, as well as how their identities have evolved over time.

Khadija feels at home in London, grateful for its diversity, yet recalls a less-than-ideal visit back to Somalia. Nemo, on the other hand, still grapples with feelings of longing, having not returned to Somalia.

This conversation highlights how our sense of belonging can be shaped by community, culture, and shared experiences.
