Sorta Sorcery

What is a Nibelungen you ask? Well, it's one of the little guys who live in the land of mist in Fritz Lang's 1924 cinematic retelling of the 1200 AD epic poem Nibelungenlied. Witness the first dragon ever to grace the screen and marvel at the wordless screams of this genre-defining silent film as the boys finally review a technically good movie on this week of Sorta Sorcery.

The original step-sister storyline! Join the boys for a raucous and, at times, incoherent, discussion of the raucous and mostly incoherent film Ator The Fighting Eagle. Why is the film called that? Your guess is as good as mine. Lots of laughs and groans on another episode of Sorta Sorcery.

The boys get BIG this week as they reminisce on their introduction to the cinematic world of Sword & Sorcery, Bret Ira Gordon's 1962 film The Magic Sword.

On this episode, the boys spit on peace, spit on you, and spit on Ralph Bakshi's 1983 classic, Fire and Ice.
