In these corona times, one Autistic can only look forward... Specifically, at the approaching Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd. Many schools have closed down across the country due to the coronavirus, and just yesterday Ohio's Governor Mike DeWine has announced that all Ohio schools will have a three-week spring break until April 3rd when he hopes public health officials will get this COVID-19 matter settled. A few weeks prior to this mandate, my peers and I had to give informative speeches for a public speaking unit in our executive functions/life skills class (aka TASK). Since I just started out podcasting this January, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share my current knowledge and experience about the topic with the people I see five days a week; I have bittersweet relations with all of them, but hopefully, they'll find this episode interesting because everything else interesting is under lockdown...
