Solitude, the act of being alone. And chileee it felt GREAT! To be alone isn't to be lonely. I spent my Thanksgiving in an untraditional manner. I spent a few days in solitude- just me and Jesus. In this episode I share somethings that were revealed to me.
What a year?!... and it isn't over yet! If this year didn't give you 20/20 vision you didn't do it right. In the midst of a global pandemic, heightened racial injustice and a newly elected president there is no time like now to ensure our vision is crystal clear going forward. Are you finding yourself getting tired? Maybe, exhausted? You're fighting the good fight. You're praying. You're fasting. But your soul is just worn out? That's me! God gave me something just for the weary soul. I hope it helps you as much as it restored me.
Verses of reflection: Galatians 6:9, Romans 8:18
What is your soul anchored to? In the midst of a pandemic, what have you grounded yourself too? Your family? Politics? CNN? The CDC? We often find ourselves anchoring to the will that we've created for our own lives instead of the will of our creator. This episode explores Paul's journey to Rome from the perspective of the physician Luke. In many ways, it is the same journey we take with our own lives.
Verse of Reflection: Acts 27
Why is it so easy for us to lose our self control to Satan but hard for us to release control to God, our Father? In this first episode, I am uncut and raw. It may seem like I am ranting but the Holy Spirit wouldn't allow me to get cute. His Word isn't meant to be cute, it's meant to be pure.
Verse of reflection: Titus 2:11-15
