We first caught notice of her mesmerizing frequencies back in 2011 on the Taylor McFerrin collaboration, "Place In My Heart". Shortly after, she released her world acclaim album, Totem with Brainfeeder! An album that still gets a lot of rotation on the show to this day. Be on the lookout for upcoming releases as she continues to push the boundaries musically as well visually.

Show #179 was a double feature of Detroit's finest, Singer/songwriter Monica Blaire who debut on Soul Circle Radio with a live performance! Since her debut album "Portraits of Me" (2006), she has worked with some of best that includes, Dwele, Andres, Zo!, Waajeed, Theo Parrish, plus local MCs Miz Korona, Marv Won, Invincible, and Guilty Simpson.  Be on the look out for for her upcoming new releases this year.  Of course, we couldn't just have one guest from Detroit without having our man, House Shoes (Street Corner Music)! Big ups to Uncle Shoes who was responsible in connecting us with Monica as well all the artists he's introduced us to in the past!  Rich Medina said it best, "House Shoes is the ultimate connector".  The brother surely has a way with connecting folks and exposing some really dope talents! Delf is always fascinated by the intrinsic value of music, and the relations between frequencies and human emotions. He was trained with classical piano since the age of 6, but shortly after falling in love with the essence of Hip Hop, Delf was opened up by the world of jazz, soul, funk, gospel, and more. Like a producer, he blends all influences and inspirations from surroundings into something he enjoy listening to. Delf is also the sound engineer of audio-visual publication MAEKAN.
