Each week, she will reflect on a part of the poem, invite others to share what it stirs in them, and close each episode with a meditation written by the author herself, shared with her full permission.

In this episode of Soul Deep In, Elizabeth Ana shares a personal and transformational story from her recent family cruise. What started as a trip to celebrate her son’s 22nd birthday the way she had imagined, with expectations of how it would look and feel, turned into something far more meaningful. It didn’t go as planned, but in that space between expectation and reality, she discovered that sometimes what unfolds, even if unexpected, is exactly what’s needed.

She set one clear intention before leaving: to let go of all expectations. For years, Elizabeth has taught the value of releasing control, yet this was the first time she truly embodied that practice. Without scripting how the experience should look, she found herself feeling present, peaceful, and emotionally free, even when things did not go as planned.

Elizabeth reflects on how her nervous system remained grounded throughout.
