In this week's episode, Val and Bryce chat with their lifelong friend, Semaj Wallace, to take a trip down memory lane. They talk friendships, relationships, and recall very interesting moments along their journey as friends. Semaj played such a major role in the Hendersons' relationship at its beginning and it was important to include him in this storytelling process.

In this week's episode, Bryce and Val dive a little deeper into some of the problems they faced while in previous relationships, while also addressing the fact that there was little time between their breakups and the time in which they made it official. The Hendersons also talk a bit about how situationships also show up among relationships with friends, family and jobs.

Bryce was and is as consistent as they come, so in this episode we explore a bit of that as well as why it was important for us to be friends for more than a year before we started dating. We also touch on self-discipline and how that helped Bryce set some boundaries.

They use their story to talk about some of the lessons they learned about their first interaction. Bryce & Val Marie highlight some important tips about making the first move, asking the right questions and being upfront about situationships.
