Soul (Re)Discovery

In today's episode, we welcome Katherine back from her hiatus from Soul (Re)discovery, introducing two new episodes! Katherine wraps up 2022 by going over significant life updates, the podcast, and business changes that led into the new year. 2022 was the poetic year of new identities and restructuring our lives post-quarantine. As a collective, we experienced massive quantum leaps and many astrological shifts that helped us shift into a new paradigm. As we step into 2023 Katherine goes over how she plans to expand her business with new and exciting projects to look forward to this upcoming year.

In today's episode, we meet Katherine Creighton Crooke! K.C.C. is a trauma-sensitive intuitive healing facilitator and body connector, helping leaders and world changers get their bodies on board with their life mission. With a background in clinical massage therapy, which grew to include visceral manipulation, she started noticing that there was often an emotional or energetic component to the pain or issues her clients were experiencing with their bodies, especially if those issues weren't responding to more traditional intervention.

She's developed a unique approach to connecting with the body, so it can show you where you're carrying things you can let go of, or so you can release the energy of what you may have already processed mentally / intellectually.

Combining an understanding of posture, the musculoskeletal system, and biomechanics with an ability to guide a deep connection to their own body, she helps clients develop a different relationship with their body, so they can be the partner it was always meant to be.

Instead of the body being a necessary inconvenience, it's meant to support you in your life's work. Everybody wants to have a better, clearer relationship with their person, and Katherine is here to help make that a reality.

In today's episode, we meet SIMONE! Simone and I met over a year ago in a business mastermind group and she immediately stood out to me. We instantly clicked and connected. We have so many parallels to our stories, everybody who meets her just adores her, and I could not be more thrilled and honored to introduce her to you all! In today's episode, Katherine and fellow professional astrologer Victoria Greer Stephens dive into the highly anticipated United States Pluto Return, falling on 2/22/22, of all dates.

What is a Pluto Return? Astrologically, this is when Pluto returns to the same position in a birth chart where it was when the chart began (aka, where Pluto was on the birth date). It happens around every 248 years, meaning this is the Pluto return for the United States since the country was founded in 1776. As humans, we don’t live long enough to have our own Pluto return, so we are even more fascinated to witness a country having their very first one. Pluto is a planet of death and rebirth, creation and destruction. It shows us where we personally face the intense powers of such things, so this is a powerful time to be alive and harness the energy of Pluto.

In today's episode, we welcome my Aunt Mary! The Rev. Mary Moreno Richardson is an Episcopal priest and the first Latina ordained in the Dioceses of San Diego, where she served at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Being a delegate to the United Nations on the issue of human trafficking, and Chaplain to survivors of abuse and detention centers for over 30 years, inspirited her to create The Guadalupe Art Program, which uses art to heal trauma. She’s worked as a Mental Health Clinician/Forensic Specialist, at LAC/UCS, Violence Intervention Program and Senior Chaplain at Juvenile Hall in East, Los Angeles.

She has been a guest speaker at the National Black and Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators on Mental Illness/ Youth in Detention, PBS’s “Religion & Ethics News Weekly”, USC’s School of Social Work, Human Trafficking Conference and The National Latino Conference on HIV/AIDS. Rev. Mary serves on the Santa Barbara County Behavioral Wellness Commission, and has a successful Hypnotherapy/Body Energy practice, specializing in trauma recovery. She has done A LOT, and in today's episode, she allows us in on her unique perspective and experiences with her spirituality and how she integrates that into her work with abuse and trauma.
