Kane did misinterpret the first question being asked but to clear some things up in the air, your righteousness only comes from God. The one who saved you. So losing it isnt up to you. Kanes thought process was more on the lines of the distance between that you seem to be walking away from. Its just like someone saying they can lose their salvation. You cannot lose your salvation. If you really think you can, then you never had it to begin with.
