This week I had the honor and pleasure of interviewing Ilana Ybgi. Ilana is a Brooklyn based artist and part of the Chabad community. Ilana is also a woman of color.
👩🏾🎤
This episode will allow you to see the world through her lens as an artist, a frum Jew, and a woman of color. We speak about the importance of positive role models as well as being surrounded by people who can relate to us. We talk about racism and discrimination, particularly in the “Orthodox Jewish community. “

I was moved by Ilana’s faith, wisdom, and outlook on life. Ilana reminded me that it’s not enough to protest and it’s not enough to tweet. The real change happens through our day to day interactions with people who are different from us.

When listening to Ilana, you will learn that it’s not about being black and it’s not about being white. It’s about our actions, behavior, and character traits.

Enjoy the show!
