Soul work comes only when God has taken possession of our spirit (soul). We are no longer natural souls but spiritual souls. We now must learn how to perform soul work if we are going to thrive and flourish in this life. Our soul work starts in the mind, with us learning how to control our thoughts.
 
It starts with our mind focusing on the truth from the Word of God and not allowing the mind of our heart to confuse our mind of Christ. We have the mind of Christ, and we can take authority over those thoughts by having the mind of Christ. Soul work involves taking responsibility for our choices and not allowing our choices to weigh us down at the soul level. When we work through this process, our soul feels lighter.
 
As we release the unwanted thoughts, choices that have not served us well. This creates more capacity for the fruit of the spirit to be released because we learn how to use God’s word without acquiring a critical spirit. Our Soul work is designed to transform us to look more like Christ. This soul work is an ongoing process of becoming truth seekers and truth tellers.
