The parallels between our fitness spaces, corporations and our political landscape are becoming more apparent by the day. Rhetoric, divisiveness, performative allyship, and bullying are all elements at play once the motivation to "win" supersedes our espoused value system. It there where both dissonance and decision making meet. Accountability in this landscape comes in many forms and it is up to us (as leaders, instructors, community members, etc) to determine how that shows up to influence the correct outcomes. In this episode, Mark and Ashley discuss the parallels, their own journeys within the spaces and an associated call to action.
