Back Story: 2 Years Ago? The Daughter in her 20's rescued a great dane, against the wishes of the Mother and brought it into communal apartment space to live. Strike 1. 

Dog then suffers from cancer + boyfriend is lazy? = shit + piss in the apartment everywhere. Strike 2. Mother moves out.

Mom gets new place, shares place with daughter who breaks up with said boyfriend, brings dog. Mother bitches but what she going to do, loves daughter.

Mom gets new boyfriend, boyfriend has dog and she feels like dog is getting more consideration?. Strike 3. 

Boyfriend has a mental crack with all the external and internal pressures and tries to move onto a different plane of existence with his familiar {developing spirit guide}. He survives, dog dies, boyfriend goes to different state for mental help, mother follows. 

New boyfriend of daughter has a friend who has a dog who can't keep said dog, daughter and boyfriend take in dog to keep, thinking temporary {be real...how often do the original owners take back what they couldn't care for in the first place?}. Black Dog even {mother bit by black dog as young kid, dad had to kill dog}. Strike 4 & 5. 

Mother tries to commit suicide a year later, after she's experienced even the boyfriend side of family choose animals > girlfriend to put their time and community into.

Mother wants the black dog out, daughter is trying to find rushed housing as she sees there is no compromise much in sight for balanced living.

Now relisten to Emerald Dragon's feelings, a little more empathy found with more history {empathy work requires a fair, balanced summation of the story of each character in {under}study}
