Today's message from 1 Peter 3:19–22, traces Christ's path from suffering to sovereign reign, encouraging believers to endure injustice with confidence. Peter reminds us that Christ has always proclaimed truth—even in hostile cultures—just as He preached through Noah to a rejecting generation, proving that rejection is not defeat. Like the faithful who labored for years without visible results, believers today are called to steadfast obedience, trusting that God brings fruit in His time. The flood becomes a picture of salvation—not in outward ritual, but in a conscience made new through faith in the risen Christ. Though Jesus suffered and was crucified, He now reigns at God's right hand with all authorities subject to Him. Therefore, Christians do not follow a defeated Savior, but a victorious King—moving from cross to crown, from suffering to glory, sustained by a living hope.

In this message from 1 Peter 3:16–18, we confront the cost of following Christ and settle the question: Is it worth it? In a hostile world, God calls His people to live with Christlike character, gracious conduct, and a clear conscience that reflects the transforming power of the gospel. True hope and lasting faithfulness begin not with culture or circumstance, but with hearts redeemed and lives yielded to Jesus Christ.
