SD stands for Sekolah Dasar which means elementary school in Indonesian. Because the dive site is right in front of the school !

Diving SD is like going to the movies. Because during a drift dive you just have to let yourself be carried by the current and watch the show !

We absolutely love drift diving!

While recording this, we drifted past a small group of Bluespotted Stingrays resting in the Pacific rose coral. We couldn’t help but stop to admire their adorable sleeping poses.

As you listen to this recording, imagine several Bluespotted Stingrays, about 1 meter in size, lying motionless on Pacific rose coral and some flat hard corals, peacefully asleep.

* At the time of filming, a school of bumphead parrotfish was still active near the Liberty Wreck.

Maybe the sound you heard included the noise of the parrotfish (if it made a sound).

As of 2024, this school of fish has disappeared.

November 04, 2024 Dive site : Holy Temple (Outflow of Nuclear Power Plant No. 4) - Taiwan, Northeast Coast Longdong

Holy Temple was originally planned as the outflow point for the Fourth Nuclear Power Plant, but it was never activated. The unused outflow tunnel is now covered in vibrant soft corals, creating a rich marine ecosystem, so it is also called a "diving spot built by the government with a budget of 400 billion NTD."

The name "Holy Temple" is said to come from two main sources: first, the structures and surrounding terrain create an atmosphere reminiscent of a cathedral; second, sunlight filters through the dome, illuminating the interior like a divine light in a church.
