As expected this most talented mixtress delivers another quick moving session full of bangers, and intricate, precise blends. Keeping the flow interesting, artistic, and in rhythm, Tally G drives home a Junglist based session full of dope drums and memorable samples. Bio
Tally G (San Diego), behind the decks off and on for the past two decades, is known
for her diversity as a (mostly) drum and bass DJ, seamlessly blending jungle,
footwork, juke, and neurofunk, among other subgenres, most notably deep, dark,
techy minimal DnB. Every set is a journey, told through a combination of long,
thoughtful transitions, skillfully quick mixing, and energetic double drops guaranteed
to get bodies moving and gun fingers popping. She is one half of Hologynic and one
half of Tex n Bass. She holds residencies with Boomslang Recordings (USDNB), Siren
Project (NYC), Proper Chicago, The Distinguished (CO), Syncopation (AZ), and THC Kru
(USDNB) and is the co-founder of El Paso’s DNBtherapy Drum and Bass. Tally G is also
on the board of directors for Siren Project, an all female-identifying collective
dedicated to providing safe spaces for trans-, non-binary, and cis-women performers
who raise funds for various nonprofit organizations. She has played around the United
States and is currently learning music production.
