There are many in the Church today who regard themselves and are regarded as prophets. With the rise of so many prophets there is also a rise of the teaching that a prophet who prophecies wrong or inaccurate just "missed" it or did not "hear" God rightly. Let's see what does the Scripture say about this manner and how we should respond. If the prophets in the Bible never "missed" it, where does this teaching that prophets today can "miss" it come from?
