Is this man really Jesus??? If we would only turn to the Scriptures at times like this it would be easy to dismiss men such as Joshua Holmes. Nevertheless, manipulation is a spider's web of deception and is often not detected until it is too late. God has revealed Himself to us in the Scriptures and through Jesus Christ. For a man to say that he is the Jesus we worship is treason of the highest order and should be denounced by the Church

God as revealed Himself to us through Christ. Therefore it is urgent to know who Christ is: His person, His essence, His Being. He is 100% God and 100% man and have always existed with the Father. I encourage anyone to separate themselves from those who teach other strange doctrines about Jesus.

There are many in the Church today who regard themselves and are regarded as prophets. With the rise of so many prophets there is also a rise of the teaching that a prophet who prophecies wrong or inaccurate just "missed" it or did not "hear" God rightly. Let's see what does the Scripture say about this manner and how we should respond. If the prophets in the Bible never "missed" it, where does this teaching that prophets today can "miss" it come from?

The division in the church over the real meaning of justice is astounding. We are victims of propaganda of the media that when we here those famous buzz words we automatically turn a deaf ear. Let's think critically about what is happening around us and listen to those around us that are hurting and crying out for help.

What is love? More importantly what is love in action? The Church is called out to be a witness to the rest of the world in display of loving our neighbors, especially our neighbors who are suffering. Let's learn from the example and cultural implications from the parable of the Good Samaritan.

Christians are to be the model citizens. However is there any reason that we can be disobedient to the ordinances of government, and more specifically the leaders of our church. This is not a cut and dry subject and there are many facets to consider when it comes to obeying other men. We need to find a happy medium and not an extreme right or left view.

Abuse in any form is repulsive, even more repulsive is those who make light of the victims of abuse. Recently their has been a #ChurchHurt movement going around and there are leaders who are making jokes about it. Well, it is not funny and I will explain why not!
