The person and work of the Holy Spirit is largely ignored or He is largely abused. Nevertheless we need the Holy Spirit to live a fruitful life of a Christian. He empowers us to do the work of the ministry.

When we share the Good News we are in essence sharing the work and person of Jesus. Everything in Christian faith hangs upon this Truth. Jesus is called the Chief Cornerstone. If your cornerstone is faulty then your house cannot stand.

In our society we must be ready to declare what is the Gospel, which is the good news of Jesus Christ as Savior. We must also be ready to proclaim what the Gospel is not! Both are equally important to the church being in unity concerning sound doctrine and biblical Christology!

The media is bombarding our minds with endless distractions, from racial injustice, to violence being conducted on our public school grounds almost weekly. How should we respond as Christians to all of Satan's devices.

Church is a place where you are supposed to be nurtured and prepared to witness for Christ in the world. However, we have some who want to build their own empires using fear and control to plunder God's people. Pay attention to the signs because they all leave clues to their true intentions.

The Bible is a book full of life and truth. When we hear lessons taught from it, we tend to take it at face value instead of testing what we have heard. I will talk about some teaching points often done in some circles that are in the Bible but are not biblical.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are often controversial and in most cases abused for selfish gain. Many believe they are not effective unless they speak in "tongues" and some believe they are not saved either. Let's look at what Scripture says about these matters.

When traveling to another country, you may go with the intent of transforming people but in reality you are the one being transformed. There is a lot of work to be done in the country of Honduras and I am privileged to be called along side others to help.

In light of the movie Come Sunday many are sympathizing with the teaching of Inclusion. We must be alert and not fall for the romanticizing of men who teach doctrines that are not sound biblically.

We often join a local community of Believers and simply repeat everything we see and hear without question. However the Bible encourages us to test everything to see if it is of God. I will discuss some topics that the churches usually don't test!
