you can, and it’s called ‘content-based networking’.
it’s something Timmy Bauer utilised to leverage his guests to catapult his many podcasts.
also, this is the first episode where I have a ‘guest’ on without actually interviewing them…
stay tuned for many other podcasters in a future episode.

OTHER MENTIONS
For many years, Apple Podcasts were the go-to directory for consuming podcasts.
But since Spotify launched into podcasting in 2018, their growth has skyrocketed.
They’re the #1 podcasting platform now because they haven’t stopped innovating with very user-friendly tech, creator platforms, lucrative sponsorship deals and many more other reasons why.

How much money is expected to be made in podcast ad revenue!?
Don’t go with the mindset on how much you’ll make when deciding to start a podcast.
Focus on giving value. Then the money will come.

It’s been 4 weeks since I left my 9-5 to take this on and I’m gaining some decent momentum.
The only downfall is my time management and what I’m doing to improve each day.
Better to learn the lesson early on.

Focus on consistency and start small.
Are you recording too many podcasts?
Instead, ask yourself “what is a realistic timeframe for me to record and release podcasts?
If it’s 1-2 a month because you’re time-poor, stick with that.
Once you get momentum, you can increase the workload.

Ever wondered how someone has taken their side hustle full-time?
I’m fortunate to be one of them.
I was able to leave my 9-5 job and turn my podcasting business full-time.
All because I started with one client and focused on over-delivering and producing quality.
It turned in many more clients through of word of mouth.

Long story short, I’m a massive overthinker.
I tend to over analyse at the best of times, but what has helped me get through this is with small wins.
Starting a podcast can seem really hard, but like anything, start small and those actions will help overcome the overthinking.
