In the latest edition of Sounding Off on Soccer, Pittsburgh Soccer Now's John Krysinsky analyzes the latest signings, then brings Matt Ralph on the podcast to talk about Pennsylvania soccer, as we begin to touch on some topics that make our two sites unique, but also will bring us together.

The panelists took turns (using a 1-4, 4-1 snake draft format) selecting 11 Riverhounds players who played at least one game during the Highmark Stadium era, each building their own starting eleven that included at least a minimum of one goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders, one forward and who knows what else!

A total of 44 players (plus one) were taken.

The Riverhounds 2023 roster will likely be looking a bit younger than the previous couple of seasons, as Head Coach Bob Lilley points out in his interview with Pittsburgh Soccer Now's John Krysinsky that they're looking to 'add to the list' that included strong breakout seasons in 2022 from Jahmali Waite, Arturo Ordonez and Nathan Dossantos and others.

This Saturday promises to be quite a day for soccer fans in the United States and in Pittsburgh, as both the World Cup and NCAA Men's Division I Soccer Tournament will provide a doubleheader that includes Pitt men's soccer team in the Elite Eight (1 p.m. ET at Ambrose Urbanic Field), preceded by the U.S. Men's National Team's return to the World Cup's knockout stage (vs Holland, 10 a.m. Fox Sports).
