Mets Starting Pitcher David Peterson collected his 500th career strikeout in tonight's game but despite that he picked up the loss and after the outing he met with the media to recap a game that he felt was a mixed bag.

Carlos Mendoza and the Mets took home a series opening victory last night and ahead of today's game against the Diamondbacks the Manager sat down with Keith Raad to discuss the continued offensive brilliance of Pete Alonso along with what he has seen from Tyrone Taylor in the field and at the plate.

The Mets head out to Arizona for a three game series against the Diamondbacks and ahead of their opening game Carlos Mendoza met with Keith Raad to give an injury update on Jesse Winker along with where he believes the newly recalled Brett Baty will factor into the lineup.
