Pat McCarthy recaps a tough night for the Mets all around as they are shutout by the Mariners in their series opening game.

It was a tough night at the plate for the Mets and Shortstop Francisco Lindor met with the media to discuss what he felt went wrong for the high powered Mets offense as they faced and will continue to face a tough Seattle pitching staff. 

After a missed location Mets Starting Pitcher Jose Quintana retired 14 straight batters before he again ran into some trouble in the 7th and he met with the media to break down a start which he believes was better than the box score might say.
