Plaisir d'Amour / Ave Maria by Canada's History Society

In this episode, Archivist Rachelle Chiasson-Taylor and Canada's History Editor-in-Chief Mark Reid guide us through the fascinating histories of two very different music recordings: A popular love song from the First World War that centres around a romantic encounter involving doughnuts; and an excerpt from a classic recording of a baroque masterpiece that had originally been released for the phonograph as a monstrous 36-disc set.
