The opposite of LOVE is not hatred, but rather SELFISHNESS. And that is exactly what the natural man's love is - it is self-seeking. This God-kind of Love in your heart demands that you put other people's life and interest ahead of yours - even to the point of death.

True love (AGAPE) is from God and of God; FOR GOD IS LOVE. So first, you have to understand the Father's Love; then you understand Jesus' love for us; then you can fully continue that love cycle.

Let me expose the selfishness of man's love a little bit.Take the "Storge" love for instance which is supposed to be a natural affection of parents for children. You would think this one has to be love but you will be amazed that for the natural man it's selfish and self-seeking.

Man never understood what LOVE really meant until Jesus came to open up AGAPE unto us and showed us what it is. Love to the natural man is sensual and desirous. The best form of love that the natural man can give is selfish and self-seeking at best.

We may not completely avoid all contact with the world, but being in close intercourse with filth will definitely POLLUTE you. That is why God commands you to depart from amongst them.

There is such a thing as an 'Unholy Alliance' or an 'Unequal Yoke'. The more a believer does not understand that there must be a separation between them and the world, the more LUKEWARM they will be in their living.

MAKE UP YOUR MIND, FRIEND. IF THE LORD IS GOD, THEN SERVE HIM; or if He is not, then serve whomever you will. You can't sit on the fence and be LUKEWARM. You will be vomited out.
