"Sounds of the Market" Sound art by Adrian Pritchard

The art of the deal, the haggle, the fun the excitement and the joy of Fleetwood Market.

This sound installation by artist and pod cast host Adrian Pritchard has resulted from a series of mixed media workshops lead by Dr Rob Mullender -Ross for the Market House Studios “Pride & Place” Project funded by UKSPF.

These workshops engaged participants in building a sense of place through sound recording, listening, narrative and composition and weaving them into stories, impressions, histories, textures etc; creating works which build a sense of place through sound.

This particular sound installation was exhibited last November in Fleetwood Market alongside a video.

These workshops where part of the Studios "Pride & Place Project" funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
