This week we pay tribute to JR Smalling, Kiss's first tour manager. You'll hear stories from Mike who got to hang out with JR and then we replay our Kiss Alive episode, an album that had so many contributions from JR.

This week we honor Bob Kulick - the man who isn't a household name, but who's musical contributions will not be forgotten.

RIP Bob. Thanks for the music and the memories. \m/

This week is a special week. We honor the King of Rock n Roll, Ronnie James Dio (and yes, Mike has officially declared that RJD take the title away from Elvis). We talk about the newly released and remastered records as well as the legacy that is the man, the myth, the legend - Ronnie James Dio.

This week we dive into Dokken's Back For The Attack. In addition to the record, we head down a few rabbit holes like metal being in TV shows and movies, commercials, and Dio.

This week we head back to 1989 to showcase a metal band that we feel is a bit underrated - Testament. Their third record, "Practice What You Preach" was one of the greatest thrash metal records in the late '80s.

We also talk a little bit about the thrash scene, Metallica (well, Phil picks on the Black album) and some of the cool stuff Mike found record hunting over the past weekend.

This week we, well... we talk about Megadeth's Rust in Peace. A little. It's really more about Dave Mustaine.

Released in 1976 pretty much everywhere except the US, AC/DC released their 3rd album, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.

The US would have to wait until 1981, a year after lead singer Bon Scott’s death.

To this day, it remains a mystery why it wasn’t released in 1976 with the rest of the world.
