Kula Shaker's Crispian Mills joins Nicole Barlow and Ryan Pak to discuss the George Harrison soundtrack score for Joe Massot's 1968 film, Wonderwall. The score was the 1st project of any of the Beatles after their breakup, and it was Harrison's 1st time as a soundtrack composer. The soundtrack features many Indian musicians like Aashish Khan, Shivkumar Sharma, Shankar Ghosh, and Mahapurush Misra, It also features The Remo Four, Eric Clapton, and Ringo Starr.

Ironically, the Oasis song that shares the same name helped renew interest in the film even though the song "Wonderwall" does not sound anything like the music that Harrison created for Wonderwall.

Monique Powell, lead singer of the Ska band, Save Ferris, joins Nicole Barlow and Ryan Pak to talk about the soundtrack to the 1999 Gil Junger film, 10 Things I Hate About You. Not only does Save Ferris have a song on the soundtrack ("I Know"), but Save Ferris is the band that plays at the prom in the the film. They perform their song, "I Know", and they back up Letters to Cleo's Kay Hanley as well for the Letters to Cleo cover of Nick Lowe's "Cruel to be Kind" which is also on the soundtrack. Keith Murray, singer/guitarist of rock band, We Are Scientists, joins Nicole Barlow and Ryan Pak to discuss the soundtrack to Joel Schumacher's 1987 film, The Lost Boys. The soundtrack features songs from INXS and Rick Barnes, Echo and the Bunnymen covering The Doors, Roger Daltrey covering Elton John, Gerard McMahon, Lou Gramm, and the iconic Tim Cappello. The film triggers a lot of nostalgia for Keith, from the locations (Santa Cruz as fictional Santa Clara) to the cast (Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Kiefer Sutherland, Alex Winter, etc),

Christian Dryden, bassist and lead singer of The Ritualists, joins Nicole Barlow and Ryan Pak to talk about the Queen soundtracked 1980 Mike Hodges film, Flash Gordon. Queen took the assignment so seriously that they spent a year dedicated to creating the soundtrack for this out of this world, space opera. The iconic "Flash's Theme" and "The Hero" even made regular appearances in Queen's setlists.

Chrstian is both a huge Queen and comic book fan, so he was the perfect guest to talk about Flash Gordon. There are plenty of juice behind the scenes tea with this movie, including the possiblity of George Lucas being involved with the film.

Jim from Film Rage returns to Soundtrack Your Life to talk to Nicole and Ryan o talk about the soundtrack to Isaiah Saxon's 2025 film, The Legend of Ochi. Dave Longstreth scored the film and wrote the song "Through the Dark and Lonely Night" for the film. This is Longstreth's first score, and he recently composed the 60 minute orchestral piece Song of the Earth for his band, The Dirty Projectors, which was released earlier this year.

It's the 1st soundtrack to ever hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200 charts with all previously released songs. It's sold over 3 million copies and was the 2nd best selling soundtrack in 2014 behind only the Frozen soundtrack. Beyond sales, the soundtrack is also partly responsible for the resurrection of the cassette tape.

Pop culture writer, James Down Williams, joins Ryan to talk about the 1992 Reginald Hudlin film, Boomerang and it's 3x Platinum soundtrack. The soundtrack boasted 6 singles including Toni Braxton's "Give U My Heart" and Boyz II Men's "End of the Road", which would top the Billboard Top 100 for 13 weeks, which was a record at the time. Equally impressive is the film's cast, which included Eddie Murphy, Hallie Berry, Martin Lawrence, David Allen Grier, Chris Rock, Tisha Campbell, Robin Givens, and Grace Jones (who is also on the soundtrack).

Erin Marlow of It's a Fandom Thing joins Nicole and Ryan to talk about the 1994 Oliver Stone film, Natural Born Killers. It began as a Quentin Tarantino script before Oliver Stone turned it into an entirely different thing, which is just one of many controversies that surround this film. What's not controversial is the greatness of the Natural Born Killers Soundtrack. Trent Reznor currated the soundtrack and contributed two Nine Inch Nails to the soundtrack, specifically writing "Burn" for the film. The soundtrack also features songs from Leonard Cohen, Lard, L7, The Cowboy Junkies, Peter Gabriel and more.
