The guys convene this week to review the FCC roster as it stands in advance of the upcoming tournament and get into some roster strengths and weaknesses while reviewing Locadia's loan extension.  The pod ends with a news roundup and a discussion of some concerns for the upcoming NWSL tourney and the demise of FloTV.

The guys return this week to go think over the MLS is Back group draws and hone in on FCC's chances in this tourney.  They finish up with some news including the arrival of Jaap Stam to the states!

The guys are back and so is MLS with the announcement of the MLS is Back tournament starting in early July.  The trio covers the tourney format, FCC's draw, and a smattering of relevant news as the team gears up to play!

The show is back again this week, after a nod to current event the guys proceed to discuss the MLS's planned tournament in Florida as a restart to the season.  Conversation proceeds to the renegotiated CBA and some questionable tactics as MLS threatened a lock-out.  Finally, the guys look ahead to the return of live sports with an NWSL tournament planned in late June.

The guys are back this week, starting off with the hiring of FCC's new coach, Jaap Stam!  Then they move back into the discussion of Brilliant Orange following Ajax and the Dutch national team through the highs of the 1990's and 2000's, finishing up the book discussion.

The guys are back with another installment of the Brilliant Orange book club.  This week begins with a discussion of Johnny Rep and the Dutch national team transitioning from the 70's into the 80's.  Then the talk moves on to some more complicated topics, such as Ajax's reputation as a "jewish club" and the relationship between the former Dutch colony Suriname and the Netherlands.

The guys are back again with another installment of the Brilliant Orange book club.  This time talk focuses on the dutch ideal of beautiful football through technique and tactics.  These ideals are discussed in the context of the Netherlands' run to the finals of the 1978 World Cup hosted by Argentina.

The boys are back with the second iteration of the Brilliant Orange book club.  They start off with a brief detour through the architecture of Lars Spuybroek, and its rejection of fixed spaces and relationships.  Soon they arrive in the golden age of Total Football in the Netherlands as Cruyff and Ajax win 3 consecutive European Cups.  That Ajax club eventually splinters, but the best of the Netherlands come together to play in the 1974 World Cup.  An impressive run to the final culminates in a bitter loss to West Germany that births a rivalry that will last decades.  In 1988 the Dutch gain a measure of revenge as they defeat West Germany in the Euro Cup.

The guys are back on air to discuss their reading of Brilliant Orange, by David Winner.  They start off in the 1950's Netherlands and follow along until around 1970 and the development of Total Football.  They note the parallels drawn between Dutch soccer and Dutch culture and history, and connect those topics back to FCC and US soccer.   For those reading along, the discussion covers topics in the first four chapters, and next week center around the next four.
