It is not usual for people to see God as a reflection of their earthly father. This can lead them to have misconception about how God will treat them, especially if their father was not around or mistreated them. For everyone though, God is not a better version of our fathers, he is the perfect version.

Resurrection is not a term we use in everyday life. However, the concept of Resurrection is at the heart of the Christian faith. Baptism is a spiritual resurrection and someday, God will resurrection our bodies up to heaven to be with him forever. The future resurrection is what we have to look forward to.

In 1st Corinthians 13, Paul gives one of the best descriptions of what true Agape love looks like. Love is the core of being a Disciple and we have to show it with our lives. Does your life reflect Love and Unity, the way that Jesus' life did?
