Since Jesus changed the way church works, we need to be more engaged if we truly want to serve him. Every person needs to give their heart, mind, soul, and strength to building God's kingdom. There are no spectators in God's church.

We all have fears in our lives. We constantly ask the "What if..." questions because we don't know where things will head. This can often hold us back and stop us from being all that God wants us to be. We need to surrender those questions to God and have faith He will see us through.

"The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love" is the message that Paul preached, but Jesus ultimately lived and taught. Love is more than a felling and must be accompanied by action. Our acts of love will show other our faith in Jesus, since we will then be living as he did.

Every now and then, we have to look back and remember what happened to get us to the point we are at. Recalling the past can sometimes give us vision for the future. We must always remember where we came from to know where we are going.

Before you can truly embrace the new, you have to let go of the old. Additionally, you have to be sure you are embracing the right new. Change is always happening, but can sometimes not be the best thing. Church needs to change for the right reasons.

Bankruptcy is a bad thing from a worldly sense. From a spiritual sense, it is essential. If ever we feel that we have it all figured out, then we stop learning. If we always feel "bankrupt" spiritually, we will constantly strive to learn more and more.

Executive orders are often given and can often be controversial. Jesus had authority to do much more than that and, while they did seem controversial at first, prove to be most beneficial to humanity. Obeying those orders are primary to following Jesus.

During political times, everyone is curious who will get the votes. We need to focus on who really should get our vote in life. Jesus is worthy to lead us in all ways and can truly provide us change. That is why he should always get our vote.

Just as the President fills his cabinet with those that are loyal to him, Jesus fills his kingdom with those that seek to surrender themselves to God. We are all sinners, so we must reach out for Jesus and be willing to give him control of our lives

Repentance needs to be a regular part of our lives as Christians. However, we often don't look at in the correct way. Repentance must start at our core beliefs and carry through the whole process of trials, emotions, temptations and sin.
