Brother Rusty Springer brings us a lesson about the love of Christ. Although we talk about this love and may think we have an understanding of it, we need to make sure that we emulate this in every aspect of our lives. To do this, we must truly know in what manner Jesus loves. If this congregation can help you in any way, please contact us at www.normanchurch.com.
This sermon evaluates what the word of God says about what it truly means to be the Church, a royal priesthood, and a family in pursuit of God's glory. Our duty as a church body goes far beyond warming a pew. We are to become on body, brought together by Jesus and spread the light of His will out in the world. If you are looking for a church family, one that will love you and hold you accountable in your Christian walk, please contact us at www.normanchurch.com.
The Creator of us and all things has given us all blessings, spiritual and physical, whether it is food, clothing, shelter, jobs, money or the opportunity to hear, believe, and obey the Gospel. We enjoy many blessings as a child of God. What have we done with all he has entrusted us with? Do we share it with all we can? Do we waist it?
As the body of Christ, we are called to fill certain roles within the church in hopes to glorify God, spread His Gospel and build the body further. This lesson talks about what mindset we, as Christians, should possess when trying to build the body up to the standards the bible has set for us. If you would like help build the body and spread Christ's message, please contact us at www.normanchurch.com.
There is more to being a part of Christ's Body than simply going to church on Sunday. As a member of this Body, we are to use our God-given talents to support one another and help each other grow spiritually. And each of us must play a role in this body if we are to live a life obedient to God and His commands. If this congregation can do anything to help you grow spiritually or if you would life to become a member of Christ's Body, please contact us at www.normanchurch.com.
Thanking God comes naturally when life is going good for us, but do you give thanks during your times of trouble? If not, today's lesson is for you.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men (NKJV Psalms 107:15)!
What is it that God really wants from us? This sermon looks at chapters in the book of Micah and discusses what gifts we can give to God. Specifically, the bible tells us that we can act justly towards people and God, we can love mercy, and we can walk humbly with Him. This Christmas season, we encourage you to give these gifts and to focus your mind on walking with the Lord in everything you do. If you this congregation can help you in that goal, please contact us at www.normanchurch.com.
In this lesson, we look at Jesus' words to the Pharisees in Matthew 15:1-9 and discuss the traditions of men in comparison to the word of God. So often we create specific rules for ourselves in order to keep us in check in our Christian walk. Although these rules might come from good intentions of edification, the true guidelines we must uphold come from God. We are in no place to use our traditions to judge others. And in no way should we be using man's traditions as equal to the commands of God. If this congregation can do anything to help you, please feel free to contact us at normanchurch.com.
