2 Samuel 7:1-17

David begins this section of scripture by telling God that he is going to build him a house... God responds by informing David that he is not going to build anything FOR him, but rather that God was going to build something THROUGH David.

2 Samuel 5

Influence. We all have it in varying degrees. Some have influence at work. Others have it in the home. Still, other have it in their neighborhoods and with friends. There is a weight to influence - a weight that can crush us if we are not ready for it. In this passage of scripture we look at the way David handled influence in a way that brought life to himself and those around him.

1 Samuel 30
